If you are the one who likes to sleep in cooler room then you not just getting comfort but also
burning more calories and improving metabolic health.

According to research, men who slept in 19°ccontinuous for four weeks saw significant
increase in brown fat (a type of fat that burn energy to produce heat).

Researchers found that this raised daily calories burn by nearly 200 kcal, and this stay same
even when no change in diet or activity level.

They also found that when someone sleep at cooler temperature, it promotes better sleep
quality by lowering core body temperature. Health institutions recommend to sleep at room
temperature between 16°c and 19°c for better results.

While there are no proven evidence that sleeping in cooler room extend lifespan but still it
does improve sleep and that lower stress hormones and also improve insulin sensitivity.
