Dua Lipa is now officially a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, she has been granted citizenship from the President on July 31, 2026.
Dua Lipa was born in London in 1995 and her parents were originally from Pristina, President praised her as one of the most iconic cultural figures in the country’s history.
The ceremony was held in Pristina ahead of her performance at the Sunny Hill Festival, serving as a symbolic homecoming for the British-born singer of Kosovar-Albanian descent.
